Why Us? Leadership: Jennifer Duran, Chief Operating Officer

Jennifer Duran’s banking journey began early, and her career is defined by a deep commitment to community banking and a unique blend of expertise in deposit operations and technology. A proud Little Rock Central High School Tiger, Jennifer started her banking career at just 16 as a file clerk at Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan. Over the years, she has developed extensive experience in deposit operations, making it the foundation of her role in community banking.

As Chief Operating Officer of Bank of Little Rock, Jennifer applies this wealth of deposit operations knowledge to her leadership in the bank’s technology-driven services. She is a certified Community Bank Technology Officer, overseeing internet banking, IT, and Information Security—ensuring that technology enhances the bank’s core operations while maintaining the personal service customers expect.

“I love that I get to work in a field that blends cutting-edge technology with the hands-on service of community banking,” Jennifer says. “My background in deposit operations gives me a strong sense of what our customers need, and I’m proud to lead a team that uses technology to improve their experience without losing that personal touch.”

Outside of work, Jennifer is equally dedicated to her family and community. She and her husband, Michael, have been married for 24 years, and they have one son, Jackson. You can often find her at the ballpark, cheering on Jackson and the Bryant Hornets or volunteering with the boosters.

Jennifer’s commitment to both high-tech and high-touch service makes her an invaluable part of Bank of Little Rock’s leadership, where she ensures that innovation always serves the needs of the customer while maintaining the personal relationships that define community banking.
